Διαβάζοντας αυτή την ανάρτηση της Μάριον είχα την έντονη επιθυμία να πλέξω ένα σάλι. Δυστυχώς ένα σάλι χρειάζεται συνήθως αρκετό έως πολύ χρόνο για να φτιαχθεί. Ευτυχώς για μένα θυμήθηκα ότι είχα αφήσει μισοτελειωμένο ένα σάλι το καλοκαίρι..οπότε το ξέθαψα για να μου φύγει η καούρα...
Reading Marion's post I had the sudden itch to knit/crochet a shawl. Unfortunately knitting/crocheting a shawl usually takes a considerable amount of time. Fortunately for me I remembered I had an unfinished shawl in my stack of unfinished objects.. so i decided to treat the itch ;)
Το σχέδιο είναι το Damson της τρομερής Ysolda Teague. Αν πλέκετε και διαβάζετε στα αγγλικά προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα τα σχέδια της. Είναι όμορφα, κομψά και εξαιρετικά καλογραμμένα!!
The pattern is Damson from the amazing Ysolda Teague. If you knit and read patterns in english i strongly recommend her patterns. They are chick and exteremely well written!
Το δικό μου Damson το έπλεξα από δροσερό νήμα bamboo, οπότε μπορεί να φορεθεί σαν φουλάρι στον ελαφρύ ελληνικό χειμώνα, αλλά και σαν σάλι ένα δροσερό καλοκαιρινό βράδυ.
My Damson was knitted using a light bamboo yarn. You can wear it in the light greek winter as a scarf but also on a chilly summer night.
